The SDI Transit Systems Division designs and builds automated guideway transit (AGT) systems for both public and private projects. Our transit team members are among the most experienced in the industry, drawing on a history of eleven highly successful new AGT systems as well as several refurbishment projects. Making it Better
SDI also refurbishes and upgrades systems built by others to increase passenger capacity, modify the track route, or upgrade the control and safety systems. The Bronx Zoo Monorail and the Hilton Waikoloa Tram in Hawaii are two noteworthy examples of SDI's full-service capabilities for system modification and performance enhancement.
